Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Yokohama, Japan, in 1996. For nearly its entire career, the band has consisted of vocalist Masafumi Gotō, guitarist Kensuke Kita, bassist Takahiro Yamada, and drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi. The band’s musical style is influenced by seminal Western punk and alternative rock acts in conjunction with their own local Japanese indie rock background. As a result, their songs maintain a balance of various aspects of the genres, most typically expressing fast-paced tempos and prominent, hard-edged guitar riffs as well as rhythmic flow and emotional lyrics. Despite the indie nature of their music, the band has enjoyed worldwide commercial success in addition to critical acclaim

“Fact is a Japanese band, formed in December 1999.
Clean and screamed singing styles are both used, and gang vocals are present in many choruses. Even though a Japanese band, the lyrics to most of the band’s songs are written in English.
The members have hidden their faces during every video since 2009 wearing traditional Japanese Noh masks during the time they supported their second album, Fact (2009), but abandoned the imagery in videos the next year in favor of either partially or fully concealing their faces.”

“Coldrain is a rock band from Nagoya. The band mixes melodic singing alongside screams typical of the post-hardcore genre.
‘The Revelation’, produced by David Bendeth, was released on April 17, 2013. They collaborated with Bendeth for the second time: indeed he also worked with them on their second EP ‘Through Clarity’.
On December 2013 coldrain signed with Raw Power Management. This allows the band to perform for the first time in Europe alongside british band Bullet for My Valentine in 2014 and to release a new album worldwide on the same year.”
